A symphony of drilling beats and a hammering melody. It’s official – the Konstruction Krew has returned. Tufts has hired out the hottest band. Again. And they are touring, campus-wide! Since their debut in Fall 1852, The Konstruction Krew has dominated the Medford stage.
The band’s last three tours have consisted of cranes, drills, and the best percussion player in the world, Jack Hammer. The success of the smash-hit album “Bulldozers at Blakeley” was soon followed by the knockout single, “Hill Hammers,” sold exclusively on the Medford side of campus. “Hill Hammers” features a balanced harmony of cement mixing and clanging metal.
The Konstruction Krew’s top selling 2025 single, “Sweet Stratton Sewer,” features a collab with the Granoff Music Center across the street. You really don’t want to miss this latest example of musical genius of The Konstruction Krew, complete with a cacophony of trucks and excavators. They have been performing nearly every morning at 7:00 a.m. with tickets selling out within minutes. If you can’t get tickets, our recommendation to hear them play is to merely open your dorm window. Soon enough, you’ll be enjoying the ear piercing beat of forklifts backing up and wood being chucked around.
There have been some complaints about concert venues taking up prime campus space, but those complaints have more or less been put to rest as campus has been filled with mesmerizing music.
Konstruction Krew: Coming soon to a patch of concrete near you!
